Artmonster Brewery (CEO Andrew J Park) announced its participation in the Korea International Beer Expo (KIBEX) 2025, which will be held from April 10 to 12 at COEX in Seoul.

Artmonster Brewery began with a question in 2012 when a foreign journalist remarked, "South Korean beer tastes worse than North Korea’s Taedonggang beer." After studying brewing in the United States for five years, CEO Andrew J Park launched the brand with the slogan "Beer That Tastes Like Art" and the name "Artmonster," reflecting a commitment to creating both flavorful and stylish beers.

Currently operating five locations across Seoul’s Gangnam, Ikseon-dong, Euljiro, Myeongdong, and Hongdae districts, Artmonster has garnered major international recognition. These include winning Asia’s Best Beer Award at the Asia Beer Championship 2020, 361 total medals from international beer competitions across four continents between 2018 and 2024, and receiving the World Champion Craft Beer award at the Australia International Beer Awards (AIBA) in 2022, one of the world's top three beer competitions.

At this year’s KIBEX, Artmonster will showcase its award-winning lineup, including the world champion craft beers and multi-medal-winning selections.

Cheongdamdong Daughter-In-Law, named World Best Vienna Lager (ABV: 5.4%, IBU: 23), features a refined and balanced flavor with a simple yet elegant profile.

Itaewon Freedom is a South Bavarian German Hefeweizen (ABV: 4.9%, IBU: 10) with a harmonious blend of banana and clove aromas and a creamy mouthfeel. The beer's generous foam is said to evoke the free-spirited and unique vibe of Seoul's Itaewon district.

Suda Sponsor is an American Pale Ale (ABV: 5.9%, IBU: 47) with rich citrus and grapefruit notes. The name comes from the Korean word "suda" (meaning to chat in Korean), and according to the brewery, it reflects the idea that both conversations and the beer itself become hard to stop once started.

Over-The-Top (Neomsabyeok) is a hazy IPA (ABV: 6.7%, IBU: 66.6) with intense aromas of citrus, grapefruit, and herbal hops.

Emophile (Geumsapa) is a hazy pale ale (ABV: 5.1%, IBU: 15) combining the soft floral scent of rose with the subtle, fragrant bitterness of Earl Grey tea.

KIBEX 2025 is expected to revitalize the domestic beer market and provide a venue where beer professionals worldwide gather to share the latest trends and innovations. Held alongside KIBEX are the Korea International Beer Conference (KIBCON) and the Korea International Beer Award (KIBA). DRINK SEOUL, a concurrent event, will feature various domestic and international spirits, traditional liquors, and wines.
